I joined Sowerbys after 10 years experience in estate agency, and became manager of the office in 2006. Having brought and sold several of my own properties over the years I am able to identify with the buying and selling process, and aim to make it as straight forward as possible for all parties.
I moved to Norfolk when I was 11 years old and began my career in estate agency in 1997. I enjoy my job immensely and enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds. Over the years I have studied for and passed my Technical Award Certificate and NVQ's in Estate Agency and I am a Member of The National Association of Estate Agents. I am proud to be part of such a well respected, friendly and honest firm.
I joined Sowerbys in 2007 as part of the Sowerbys Wealth Management team, returning to the workplace after being a full time Mum. I then spent 2 years working in the successful Lettings department and I am now based at the Holt office as a Residential Sales Negotiator, which I thoroughly enjoy. I get an enormous amount of pleasure from meeting new people and assisting them in their search for their dream home. Whether buying or selling, I try to help make the whole process as stress free as possible. Working for Sowerbys means I can spend time providing a personal service to each applicant and vendor. l was lucky enough to build my current property from scratch which I project managed. This was a fantastic experience and educated me in all aspects of planning and building work.
I started modestly in 1994 with one office in Burnham Market, and have built up what I believe to be is one of the most respected independent agencies in the area, employing the very best local staff. We now have six local offices located in the best possible positions which gives us unrivalled independent coverage of Norfolk. We are now selling some of the finest & widest range of properties on the market, from beach bungalows to large country houses. I believe passionately in excellent customer care, honesty, and high standards of presentation. I have learnt not to sit on our laurels and continue to embrace new technology and employ quality people to ensure that our service and performance cannot be surpassed.
I started my career in Estate Agency over 15 years ago initially in the Home Counties area and moving on to work in London in the prime residential market. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to work in some of the most sought after and affluent areas of the South East and East Anglia, both in town and country surroundings. I am a Member of The National Association of Estate Agents and currently studying an NVQ in Management. My role as Valuer for both the Holt and Wells-next-the-Sea offices here at Sowerbys involves me advising and assisting clients on some of the most diverse and interesting residential properties the area has to offer and every day is different. I live in Holt and my two daughters both attend schools here so I feel very much part of the community. I am very proud to be part of the Sowerbys success story and to work with some of the best people in the property industry.
