STANHOE
Stanhoe is a small rural village just a short distance from Burnham Market. The Village supports its own public inn known as 'The Crown' and is appreciated for its good food and drink. The nearby village of Burnham Market which can be reached in about 5 minutes by car is regarded as one of the most idyllic North Norfolk villages to be found in this area. Burnham Market has a large village green surrounded by delightful mainly 18th century houses and unique individual shops. The Hoste Arms is regarded as one of the best places to eat and has a national reputation. There are a range of other facilities including; a doctor's surgery, dental surgery, pharmacy, post office, primary school and banking facilities. Stanhoe is within easy reach of the coast at Burnham Overy Staithe and Brancaster. These coastal areas are regarded as some of the most important areas of outstanding natural beauty, with good sandy beaches.
