By kind invitation of West Raynham Business Park, I was invited to attend this year’s EDP Business Awards at the Norfolk Showground, and what an amazing awards ceremony this is, celebrating all things business in Norfolk.
With Brexit having dominated the headlines and economic forecasts since this historic vote, there are still plenty of growth opportunities for business in Norfolk and this was shown in abundance during the evening’s events. Norfolk has continued to grow and develop and perhaps we sometimes forget just how great this county is and what it has to offer.
Hosted by Stewart White, the awards were all about recognising the story of growth in Norfolk’s economy and each and every winner from the evening has made their own outstanding contribution to Norfolk’s business success. The guest speaker was none other than Baroness Manningham -Buller, DCB who headed MI5, from 2005 to 2007, and for those who don’t know, whilst she was at the helm, MI5 doubled in size, opened 8 new offices and altered its approach to the professional development of staff, so she was well equipped to talk about everything being celebrated at this event.
I found that the evening was very much focused on growth and with that, fantastic customer service and staff. After all any company is only as good as the staff who look after it, the product they deliver and the customer care they provide, all things that Sowerbys knows all about.
I have worked for Sowerbys for 11 years and have always prided myself on good customer care by treating people as I would want to be treated. We are all well aware that buying and selling a house is topped as one of the most stressful things we can do, so we pride ourselves on trying to make this event as stress free as possible.
Sowerbys has grown over the last 25 years and now has seven offices covering Norfolk along with our very own Land and New Homes Division so we really can provide an all-round Estate Agency service right from the very beginning.
