We are exceptionally proud of the high quality and personal experience we offer all our clients. We have always stuck by our decision not to offer any form of ‘do it yourself or call centre’ estate agency, as we firmly believe that paying up front is not in the best interest of our home sellers. We are completely adamant that you should not pay us until we actually sell your home. A ‘DIY or call centre’ agent has little incentive to sell your home once you have paid an upfront fee. It is therefore brilliant when we receive messages from happy sellers, such as the one below. These clients sadly found out first hand the pitfalls of trying to go it alone.
I didn't realise how important choosing the right agent was until Sowerbys rescued us from a horrible situation we were in. We had initially gone with a cheap online agent and it was the biggest mistake we made. Our first sale had no post offer aftercare with this online agent and after many months of not knowing what was going on with our buyer, they eventually pulled out of the sale as they didn't have their deposit secured. Our online agent did nothing other than market our property on right move. We decided to ditch the online agent (having to still pay them their full charges) and go with a well respected agent - Sowerbys. Every member of the team made sure they were familiar with our house, maximising the selling potential. They gave the best advice on selling price, and from the word go we had viewings galore! Even in the lead up to Christmas. Sure enough all the hard work paid off and we soon had a buyer. The support from that point on was amazing and now I realise how important that part of the sale is. We were kept well informed at all stages and the team were in touch constantly with the progress of the sale. I felt so at ease with them after such a horrible and lonely experience with an online agent. I can't praise the Dereham and Watton office enough and will be recommending them to everyone I know who's moving in the future. Professional, friendly, approachable 'real' people, who's sole intention is you get you the right price for your home and get you moving!
