Fleur Hill open the new, much needed car park for Burnham Market
There were smiles all round, despite the rain, at the official opening of the new 187 space car park in Burnham Market on Saturday.
MP Sir Henry Bellingham along with Joff Brooker of Fleur Hill officially opened the car park to the public. The car park has been built as part of the Foundry Field development in Burnham Market which is being marketed by Sowerbys.
The new car park which has been thoughtfully designed and laid out will bring much needed relief to the congested Market Place in Burnham Market and will benefit the entire community. Sir Henry said ‘Burnham Market is a great village and a special part of the tourism offering of north Norfolk and the car park really compliments that by relieving congestion. It is probably the most attractive and well-built car park in the country!’
Richard Bird, Norfolk County Councillor said ‘This means so much to the people here, It has been in the offing for more than 30 years and to see the culmination of all the efforts at all levels of government wih a proactive developer in Fleur Hill is just fantastic.

"Thank you so much for everything you did to ensure that things ran smoothly throughout the sale. It was a pleasure dealing with you all and we felt confident that we were in very good hands. From helpful co-operation over the photographs and text of the brochure to frequent contact with solicitors and buyers to make sure we were all going in the right direction and sticking to the right timing to suit everyone, we couldn’t fault the service that we were given by Sowerbys in Dereham. It was a bonus that everyone in the office had local knowledge and was enthusiastic about the area around Dereham. We have already recommended you to a couple of people thinking of selling their properties."
