Located in the historic former offices of local architect Edward Boardman in the Old Bank of England Court in Queen Street is our beautiful new Norwich office. This is an Estate Agents office like no other, with the focus firmly placed on the care and comfort of our clients. We are offering everything you would expect but with many added extras.
‘There is a lot of competition in estate agency in the city and I knew if Sowerbys expanded into Norwich, we needed to be able to offer something special for customers’ said Max Sowerby.
The building – originally a bank and then from 1875, famous architect Edward Boardman’s office has been transformed. Max Sowerby’s vision was to bring the country agency to the city and to convert this near derelict three storey building into not just an office, but an exclusive ladies and gentlemans club where our clients can come and sit in beautiful surroundings.
‘We have a dedicated concierge who is there to make life easy, whether that’s to make you complimentary tea or coffee to enjoy in our beautiful Client Lounge where you can read the papers or check your emails or to use the Boardroom for any important meetings you may have. We also have beautiful clean cloakrooms for your convenience.’
The interior has been designed in conjunction with Paula Gundry Interiors. You walk into a beautiful hallway with an original Victorian tiled floor off which is the sales office. The Client Lounge is truly stunning with client washrooms and the panelled boardroom really makes a statement.
So, please do come in and see us when you are next in the City.
"From the initial valuation through to completion the service and support has been phenomenal. Moving is especially difficult but Lex dealt with every detail and kept me informed at every stage often speaking with the other parties involved to keep everyone moving forward. I am very pleased with the speed at which I was able to sell my property on the first viewing and appreciate the dedication from Lex to ensure the sale completed."
