The build up to the festive season is in full swing – there’s gift fairs, Christmas illuminations and plenty more to help you kickstart your preparations.
King’s Lynn Christmas lights switch on
Christmas will officially arrive in King’s Lynn this Sunday as the lights are set to shine from the afternoon. There will be free festive entertainment including characters from the Corn Exchange panto, fairground rides and a performance from the Bear Club.Find out more here.
Wells ChristmasTide is one the biggest event is the town's calendar! Entertainment begins at 10am and lights will illuminate at 4.45 before Santa's arrival in the harbour. Make sure you stop by the Sowerbys Wells office between 1pm and 3pm for mulled wine and mince pies.Find out more here.
Festive Fair at the Forum
This fabulous four-day festive fair is back for another year. With well over 50 stalls you can pick up handmade glassware, stationary, jewellery, textiles, plants and a plethora of other gorgeous gift ideas. There’ll also be carols from The Pavilion brass band and mulled wine to sip while you shop.Find out more here.
A World Apart Exhibition
David Dane exhibits his paintings tinged with nostalgia for an unspoilt Broadland. The Broads may have changed a great deal, but the air of mystery surrounding the paintings make it seem like a whole other world.
