There's some big events planned for this weekend! From the Wayland Agricultural Show and Gunton Festival of Food and Music to the Railway at War and Little Vintage Lover Fair, there's plenty of celebrations to get involved in.
The Wayland Show
One of the oldest one-day agricultural fairs in the country, Wayland Show is a fantastic day of fun for the whole family. Immerse yourself in the unmissable attractions including livestock competitions, motorcycle display teams, dog shows, fairground rides, vintage tractors, classic cars and plenty of local food and crafts. The Gunton Festival of Food and Music
This festival is dedicated to the holy trinity of The Gunton Arms – food, drink and music. Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, the critically acclaimed restaurant will be open throughout the event alongside local vendors. Railway at War, 1940s Weekend
Ride the Mid-Norfolk Railway back in time at the annual 1940s Railway at War weekend. This nostalgic event commemorates and educates passengers at various stations along the line, including vintage stalls and beer tent at Wymondham Abbey and live battles and air raids at Dereham station. There will also be military vehicles, re-enactment groups and ‘Drive the Diesel’ at Yaxham Light Railway.Find out more here.
Little Vintage Lover Fair
Set in the beautifully quaint village of Heydon and celebrating it’s 10th birthday, the Little Vintage Lover Fair is celebrating with a treasure trove of vintage treats. There will be over 30 stands from quality vintage traders showcasing clothing, textiles handmade accessories, furniture, kitchenalia and all things unique and quirky. Sandringham Food and Drink Festival
It’s food and drink festivals galore this weekend! Head over to Sandringham Estate this weekend to catch celebrity chefs Levi Roots, Ursula Ferringo, Richard Bainbridge and others in action.
