Heritage Open Days
Taking place over this weekend and next, the country’s biggest festival of heritage and culture will see seven popular Norfolk venues open for free. Catch the Extraordinary Women talk at Dragon Hall with biographer Stuart Hobday, explore the hidden garden behind Elm Hill’s The Bear Shop and enjoy live music and plant stalls at the Plantation Gardens.Find out more here.
Sandringham Game and Country Fair
We love a country fair here in Norfolk, and the one in Sandringham is certainly a highlight of the year. With three main arenas, you can enjoy a range of country sports, skills and animal talents from falconry, fly casting, horseboarding, scurry driving and rare breed displays. Wymondham Vintage Day
In its third year, the Wymondham Vintage Day will feature classic cars, the Dad’s Army van, vintage themed stalls, children’s games, memory lane exhibits, cake-off competition, live music and even vintage bus rides. The region’s biggest green lifestyle event will be at Felbrigg Hall this weekend. Organised by North Norfolk District Council, it will showcase a variety of sustainable products, low carbon innovations and green technologies. Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival
Head out to the coast to celebrate Great Yarmouth’s maritime past, present and future. This annual, free event will take place on the historic South Quay over the weekend. With over 100 different varieties from all over the world, including some from off the beaten track, anyone who loves kicking back with a glass of wine will love this event.
