Following the pleasing announcement from the Government that the housing market can ‘re-open’, we would like to advise you of our next steps.We have continued to remain ‘virtually’ open with small teams managing the enquiries for each office since lockdown began back in March.
We believe we have a social responsibility beyond that of being your local estate agent and we want to reassure you that everyone at Sowerbys will be following and keeping up-to-date with the Government’s health and safety guidelines as they change.
We are working hard behind the scenes to ensure all preparations are made to allow us to safely conduct physical viewings and valuations. We are hopeful of being able to start carrying these out by Wednesday 20th May. The safety of our teams and our clients is our number one priority, so any appointments will only take place where it is safe to do so.
Any viewings or other appointments will adhere to strict 2 metre distancing, we will remain outside properties where possible, we will limit the length of appointments and the number of people in attendance and the number taking place per day and space these appropriately. All appointments will be ‘hands free’. Appropriate PPE will be used by our staff and made available to clients who do not have their own.
