Best brunch spots in Norfolk this National Brunch Weekend

Published: 01/10/2021

There’s nothing better than waking up at the weekend and popping out to grab some brunch at your favourite spot.

As it’s National Brunch Weekend, we’ve asked the team to recommend their favourite places across the county to get brunch and why they love it.

Did your go-to make the list?

Adele, Marketing - Archers, King’s Lynn

“The pancake stack is the absolute must on the brunch menu here. American style with bacon and syrup is my favourite choice. The place is quaint with a relaxed and trendy aesthetic. And if you needed any more persuading, they do great cocktails as well!”

Sally, Norwich - Cafe 33, Norwich

“Café 33 is our pick us up go to place – we can order online and collect – their bacon sandwich on toasted sourdough bread is just awesome and they also do the best vegan breakfast with hash browns, fab vegan sausages, seasalt mushrooms, spinach and baked beans!”

Paula, Fakenham - The Old Dairy, Stanfield

“I love the rustic farm setting, delightful walled herb garden, boasting an excellent menu including, English breakfast, home baked bread and pastries, served with preserves made on the premises, complimented by a super range of coffee or a homemade cafetiere of delicious mint tea!”

Julian, Wells - Bang, Wells-next-the-Sea

“Bang is a great place to grab a bite to eat and ideally located in the centre of Wells. It has a friendly welcoming atmosphere with comfortable seating and offers brunch dishes not found in most of the other eateries. I can personally highly recommend the Bang classic club sandwich and the unique ‘DIY’ crab sandwich, both absolutely lovely. What’s more they also have a bar, just in case you fancy a cheeky brunchtime tipple.”

Spencer, Burnham Market - Magarets Tea Shop, Swaffham

“What I love about this place is that not only does it cater for every appetite with a fabulous breakfast selection particularly the full English which is all sourced from the town but it also does amazing stone baked pizzas, family friendly and always such a welcoming smile from the team.”

Leanne, Lettings - Turtle Bay, Norwich

“Turtle Bay is the place to go for brunch not only for the amazing Caribbean cuisine which is to die for but for the amazing unlimited variety of cocktails you get to choose from. Not to mention the vibe in there!”
