Published: 29/08/2019After much anticipation, our new Fakenham office is here. The branch will be open to the public from Monday 2nd September.
This will be our ninth office and possibly the most exciting yet. As well as the leading-edge Land and New Homes team, it will house a training centre and an experienced sales and lettings team which will cover Fakenham and the surrounding villages, plus management and accounts.
This is the ideal location for the Land and New Homes department as it’s right in the heart of Norfolk allowing coverage across the whole county and it’s easily accessible for clients with free parking. We offer unique, bespoke packages for developers and this state of the art, flagship branch is the perfect place to discuss plans.
From an old rectory to a garage headquarters, the historic building is a beacon of architecture in the local area and forms part of the Fakenham Lancaster Heritage Trail. We are excited to be breathing new life into this landmark property by maintaining its character and furnishing it in classic Sowerbys style while offering state of the art features.
The interiors have been sponsored by Collette Hanlon of Home Stagers, a Norfolk based interior design company, including all fixtures and fittings which use natural textures and elements to evoke the sense of this exceptional location and create a calm, comfortable quality to reflect the relaxed pace of life. The exterior has been sponsored by Fakenham Garden Centre to create a sense of colour and homeliness to welcome clients.
These partnerships with local businesses have afforded a fantastic opportunity for us to be further involved with local initiatives. Supporting communities around our offices is a key part of Sowerbys’ ethos, therefore, we will be donating £100 to Fakenham Academy for every home we sell through the Fakenham office.
Lloyd Sandy, Managing Director, says, “Fakenham was an obvious choice for us as it’s a wonderful market town which is experiencing some exciting growth. The client is at the centre of everything we do, and we have been able to work with local businesses to not only create a space in which clients feel at home, but one which is truly a product of the local community.”
Paula Tuck, who was educated in Fakenham, will be the manager of the new branch and brings a wealth of local market knowledge. Lorna Herring will be joining as the Assistant Manager from the Wells branch and Julian Croucher will complete the sales team as a Property Specialist. The new office will also be home to the Managing Directors, Max Sowerby and Lloyd Sandy, and the accounts team. Meet them all here.
