Sowerbys Lettings Market Bucking the Trends So Far This Year
Following the tighter restrictions that have been placed on us all in a bid to reduce the COVID-19 case numbers, its no surprise that the Goodlord Rental Index suggest that the lettings market across the country seems to have slowed during the month of January.
Whilst this seems to be the case across England for many Letting Agents, with smart technology enabling us to create ‘virtual viewings’, we have seen an increase of just over 30% of enquiries for our properties, compared to January 2020. With these promising figures, it’s looking set for us to have a great few months ahead. Virtual viewings are proving increasingly popular as they allow us to safely show multiple prospective tenants around properties, whilst keeping everyone safe. If you are interested in virtually viewing any of our properties, please let us know!
Despite the Goodlord Rental Index reporting a slow lettings market of the beginning of the year, they now say the market appears to be holding steady, despite the latest lock down measures, highlighting further that with our previous level of high enquiries and applicants being registered, it’s only set to get better and better.
