From avoiding unwanted personal items to finding those idyllic angles to maximise your home's appearance, below you'll find the best lessons for preparing your house for photographing.
MAKE YOUR HOME PICTURE PERFECT FOR MARKET
Interior
1. Clean and clear kitchen counters and sinks
2. Remove personal items and toiletries from bathroom surface

Rearrange the Furniture
3. Make the bed, fold blankets on sofas and fluff up cushions
4. Pets and children? Tidy up toys and remove pet beds/accessories from view

General Tidy
5. Clear surfaces of decoration and clutter. These are things like electrical items, personal items, paperwork
6. Ask yourself ‘is this item personal or necessary?’
7. Remove items from the top of units and under beds

Final Checks
8. Turn on all lights throughout the home and replace dead bulbs
9. Tidy any loose wires, extension leads and cables

Home Exterior
10. Clear garden and driveway of unnecessary items
