In this week's Saturday Shoutout, Sowerbys talk to Cobbled Streets, a local online marketplace showcasing small businesses across Norfolk. Here at Sowerbys, we are all about supporting small, local businesses and most importantly, helping spread the word about the wonderful people and companies we're lucky enough to have here in Norfolk.
Our Saturday Shoutout this week was created to do the exact same thing. Cobbled Streets is an online marketplace selling the works of local and unique small businesses across the county, all under one roof.
The perfect place to shop for gift ideas, they sell everything from houseplants to artwork, stationery to home and living accessories.
We talk to founder, Ellie, below.

What is your name/role?
My name is Ellie and I am the founder of Cobbled Streets.

Where are you based?
I am based in the fine city of Norwich but Cobbled Streets is an online platform.

How long has the business been open?
We officially launched our website at the end of January this year but had been beavering away in the background from the end of December trying to build a social media following, finalising the website, legalities and all the bits in between.

What does the business offer?
Cobbled Streets is an online marketplace that acts as a platform for small businesses, creators and artists based in Norfolk to sell their work. We offer a range of gifts from sterling silver jewellery, houseplants, cards and homeware to a more personalised approach, by giving the customer an opportunity to customise their own gifts. This includes property portraits through digital illustration to embroidery, or a chance to show some love to your furry family member with a pet portrait.

Cobbled Streets was created during the pandemic when local small businesses were struggling and we wanted to find some way to help these individuals. We did this by launching a website that highlighted and celebrated what Norfolk had to offer.
