In this week's Saturday Shoutout, Sowerbys talk to Rose Garden Flowers - a newly opened florist in King's Lynn.Over the past couple of years many people have turned their passions and hobbies into a full time job.
For eighteen year old Charlie opening her own florist was a childhood dream, but that dream has become a reality!
Rose Garden Flowers has only been open for a week but things are off to a flying start...
We're super happy to see another local business open on the high street!

What is your name/role?
My name is Charlie, I’m the business owner, the florist and the delivery driver!

Where are you based?
We are based in King's Lynn town centre, down St James Street.

What inspired you to start the business?
Many things inspired me to start Rose Garden Fowers, my nan was very creative and loved flowers and her garden, so I feel I get my artistic flare from her.
I quickly realised I wanted a career in the industry and after finishing school I went on to college and became a qualified florist.
Flowers are my passion and I love creating arrangements that can bring happiness, but can also bring comfort to someone at the saddest times.

How long has the business been open?
The shop opened on 22nd January 2022, but the dream started when I was 13.

What does the business offer?
We offer a wide range of floral arrangements for all occasions, including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, bespoke funeral creations and corporate events.
Delivery is available up to a 12 mile radius from the shop and we also have a collection service, so pop in the shop and lets talk flowers!
