Published: 24/11/2020Back in March, nobody was quite sure what was in store for various industries and sectors, including the property market. However, we find ourselves in the last couple of months of 2020 and the property market in Norfolk has seen a buoyant year, particularly in the sale of new homes.
New homes are incredibly appealing to buyers. There are more certain time frames to work too, allowing people to plan ahead. The chain stops here! – with no chain above the new home buyer, it is a far less stressful process with less uncertainties.
We have sold many new homes this year and a particular success story has been Heath Farm, in Holt by Lovell Homes. As the agent for the development, we have our own Sowerbys dedicated full-time member of staff on site at Heath Farm. Susie Hamilton has worked with Sowerbys on a number of new homes developments and has vast experience. Whether it was working from home during lockdown or in the marketing suite, Susie has worked tirelessly this year and has so far sold 38 properties at Heath Farm. This equates to an outstanding £14 million worth of new homes sales.
Of course, this has not been easy, it’s not just agreeing the sale of the property but also the behind the scenes procedure that goes into selling a new home. From guiding the buyer through the entire process of the build schedule, to helping them choose the type of property they would like, along with selecting their fixtures and fittings – Susie is there through the whole process.
Here at Sowerbys we are incredibly fortunate to have dedicated members of staff such as Susie, who work very hard, often on call seven days a week to try and get our clients through to competition. Great, work Susie!
