Published: 26/03/2020Since the announcement from the Government last week regarding self-isolating, we have received many questions surrounding marketing property for sale or let.
During these uncertain times, it is understandable why traditional face-to-face property viewings cannot take place until further notice. However, this period of lockdown won’t last forever and so we are coming up with more ways of showing properties we have available.
As you are probably already aware, we have lots of property films for homes we are selling and professional photography for most of the homes we have for sale or rent.
Having looked at new ways we can conduct viewings during this time, we are, where it is safe to do so, conducting virtual viewings where technology and bandwidth allows, using services such as Facetime and Whatsapp.
Here is an example of a virtual viewing, conducted by Charlie from our Holt office.
We have also given vendors and landlords the option to facilitate their own virtual viewings, if they are a resident in the home they are trying to sell or let. We can put you in touch with vendors or landlords to offer this whilst you are both still adhering to the self-isolation guidelines.
In the meantime, we are continuing to market properties for sale or let via all our usual channels and we have staff working remotely who are dealing with all enquiries as normal. Our website is experiencing higher than usual levels of visits, confirming that people are still interested in buying, selling, letting and renting homes.
If you have any questions or would like a chat about anything, you can contact all our branches directly on the usual telephone numbers or by email. Find the contact details for all our branches here.
