Welcome to the team: Dan Reynolds

Published: 21/09/2021

Say hello to another one of our new team members.

We've been very lucky to have introduced a few new members to the Sowerbys team recently and we love nothing more than finding out more about them and what they love about Norfolk.

Today we're talking to Dan, our new Trainee Property Specialist in Norwich, about his travel adventures and why he decided to come back to his home county...

So first off, introduce yourself:

My name is Dan and I spent time in my 20's travelling the world, which taught me two important lessons: the first being that I am a huge lover of animals and nature. I created a non-profit movement inspiring hundreds of volunteers to get together every weekend and clean up the beaches. The second lesson being: there really is no place like home.

I was born and raised in Norfolk and I truly believe it is a magnificent place to live. I knew there was nowhere else I would rather start my own family - and so I've returned for perhaps my biggest adventure yet: settling down and joining the team at Sowerbys. My goal is not only to be knowledgeable about property, but to deliver those ‘breath of fresh air’ experiences to all our valued clients.

We know everything in Norfolk is pretty special but tell us your favourite Norfolk past time:

My favourite pastime was visiting the big red squirrel at Thetford forest as a kid!

Not that we like to have favourites (how can we ever choose!?) but where are your go-to foodie spots in Norfolk?

A personal favourite of mine is Erpingham house, located in Tombland of Norwich.

What will you be doing with Sowerbys?

I am training to become a property specialist at the Norwich branch, with the long term goal of becoming the go-to guy for property advice.

And why did you choose to work here?

Sowerbys is well known for their highly professional approach, putting customer service and care at the heart of what they stand for. This is the type of company that I was searching for and I’m very happy to be here.
