Deposit free renting works
At Sowerbys we offer both the traditional deposit and alternative deposit schemes. We’ve partnered with payment technology experts Flatfair to offer tenants the option of deposit-free renting - it’s the simple, safe and affordable alternative to tenancy deposits, whilst offering more protection, less void periods and faster lets for landlords. Working in the same way as the traditional deposits with tenants fully responsible for legitimate claims, Flatfair greatly speeds up the end of tenancy process. Find out more about flatfair here.

Inventory and schedule of condition
After the tenancy agreement, a professionally produced inventory is a vitally important document to make sure everything goes smoothly when letting a property. Our inventories compile and detail the contents and condition within each property using descriptive text and comprehensive high-resolution digital photography. Our inventories also include meter readings and push button testing to all smoke and CO2 alarms which are photographed and their location recorded. Additionally and importantly they include a Housing, Health and Safety (HHSRS) property inspection to make sure the property complies with new legislation.
