Scolt Head Island, a Nature Conservation Area, sits off the coast and is accessible by boat. The tidal marshes and harbour are thronged with wildlife and are ideal for bird watching. There are also superb coastal walks on offer, west towards Brancaster with its broad sandy beach and east along the sea wall towards Burnham Overy harbour. Burnham Deepdale has year-round activities and shopping at centred around the garage and its attached shops, with a popular Christmas fair taking over the village in December. There is an information centre in the village and two pubs, the Jolly Sailors and The White Horse, both of which serve excellent food.
"I chose to use Sowerbys to market and sell my property as they have a strong local brand and have good on line marketing which is laid out well and easy to access. The main difference to other agencies is the staff. The Dereham office were efficient, thorough and very supportive. Buying and selling houses are more than a financial transactions and the staff made the difference with their professionalism and personal skills. Thanks to Sowerbys I sold my house for a good price and they found me one to buy so I now have a new home. Thank you Sowerbys I fully recommend your company and service. "
