About Swanton Morley
Swanton Morley has been voted East of England village of the year for its well-balanced village life and caring community. It has easy links to Dereham and, 16 miles to the west, the large cathedral city of Norwich. This well-served village has a butcher, village shop, post office, garage, primary school, village green and two public houses. There is also a village hall and several local sports clubs, which include football, bowls and cricket.
Swanton Morley is located within easy reach of the River Wensum for fishing and tranquil walks for nature lovers. For commuters there are regular bus services to both Norwich and Dereham. Property types include new builds and older detached houses and terraces.
"Thank you so much for all your help with the sale of our cottage. With the excellent photos and description it sold quickly and when we were held up with the completion by one of the solicitors all members of staff were helpful and understanding. I cannot fault the service we were given at all and would not hesitate to use or recommend Sowerbys again. Also where else will you find an estate agents with a member of staff willing to look after your cat whilst moving when the proposed completion date kept changing. Thank you again to everyone. Wendy and Billy Graveling"
