Chapel Cottages, High Street, Docking, Norfolk, PE31

2 Bedroom Cottage Sold

Tucked away in this quiet and private part of the village, Number Three Chapel Cottages is a delightful, mid-terrace, two bedroom Victorian cottage. Approached via the easy to maintain south facing garden, the cottage is perfectly balanced with a reception room to the front that is flooded with natural light and also has a pretty little wood burning stove that gives the room a warm and snug atmosphere. At the rear is an equally pretty kitchen and dining room with a door out to the rear access pathway. Upstairs there is a good sized double room to the front which retains its original little cast iron open fireplace then to the rear is a second double room currently arranged as a twin with an attractive exposed brick wall to one end and they both share an upstairs shower room. Outside and in addition to the south facing garden there is also a single off street parking space. The cottage has been run as an extremely popular and successful holiday let and could easily continue to do so or alternatively would make an ideal home from home or weekend getaway.

DOCKING Docking is a busy village with a small supermarket and post office, a fish and chip shop, a pub, a large village playing field, tennis court and bowling green. There is a weekly farmers market with stallholders including a baker, fishmonger, a butcher and greengrocer, and with stalls selling cheese, preserves and cakes. The village is perfectly placed for the North Norfolk Coast and its long, fine sandy beaches. Brancaster and The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club are about four miles away. There are two golf courses in Hunstanton, which is less than eight miles away. The Titchwell Bird Reserve, home to terns and waders is close by. The ultra fashionable Georgian village of Burnham Market, Sandringham and the market towns of Fakenham and King's Lynn are also nearby.
