HOW SHARED OWNERSHIP WORKS You start by buying between 25% and 75% of your Broadland Housing Association home. That means your monthly mortgage payments and deposit are smaller than they would be if you bought your home outright. There are two other monthly payments for your Broadland Housing Association home. One is the Broadland Housing Association payment for the share of your home that Broadland Housing Association owns. The other is the service charge, which covers the cost of buildings insurance, grounds maintenance and sewage treatment plant for the development . There are also the usual other costs, like household utility bills and council tax, which you will be liable for. Please note: Maximum 80% staircasing in the future applies to this property.
