Stanhoe Road, Muckleton, Burnham Market, Norfolk, PE31

Sold

3 Bedroom Detached House Sold

A detached three bedroom period cottage set in a delightfully secluded position with wonderful countryside views and only two miles to the west of North Norfolk's most celebrated village of Burnham Market.
Undoubtedly the secluded location is a persuasive draw for this property. The delightful far reaching views over open countryside are a real tonic. The cottage is set back from the Stanhoe Road which is on the way to the village of Stanhoe, from Burnham Market, leaving either village only a few minutes away by car. Popular coastal destinations are also in convenient reach.
The cottage itself would benefit from modernising in parts but overall has wonderful character and the charm of a period brick and flint cottage. It briefly comprises entrance to kitchen and utility, two reception rooms, both with fireplace, a conservatory, downstairs shower room and stairs leading up to two separate landings, one of which has the potential to be an additional bedroom, a W/C and two large bedrooms.
Outside there is a brick weave driveway and standing at the end is a brick and flint garage. There is a good sized lawned garden which surrounds the majority of the property and is well balanced with the size of the cottage.

MUCKLETON Muckleton is a small hamlet situated about 3km south west of Burnham Market. Located a few minutes from the coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Burnham Market is for many people the jewel in the crown of North Norfolk, a stunning Georgian village with a green surrounded by 18th century houses, shops and chic boutiques. Along with The Hoste Arms, it also boasts the exciting restaurants; Number 29, and Socius. The village has a range of amenities including doctors' and dental surgeries, primary school and post office. There is an abundance of small village shops including a butcher, fresh fish shop, beauty and hair salon. Also there are bookshops, art galleries, a good wine merchant, Satchells, and a popular delicatessen, Humble Pie. The village playing field has all weather tennis courts and children's recreational equipment. The village is close to the sailing harbours at Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe and the Royal West Norfolk Golf Course at Brancaster. The closest rail link to London King's Cross is at King's Lynn.
