The Green, Ingoldisthorpe

A handful of ready to build plots of land with full planning, built-in design flexibility and mains services provided, all around a new village green.

Ingoldisthorpe is a small quiet village on the Norfolk coast, north of King’s Lynn. There is a village church, a good primary school, sports and social club, and a village hall where a range of classes and events are held. There are good shops in both Snettisham and Dersingham. King’s Lynn is around ten miles away, and has supermarkets and a wider range of amenities, as well as a main line link to London King’s Cross – approx 1h 40min – via Cambridge. Ingoldisthorpe is just two miles from the Royal Sandringham Estate, and the beautiful North Norfolk coastline is only a short drive away.

The Architect

Project Orange is a resourceful and agile Architecture and Design Studio set up by Christopher Ash and James Soane.

Through its work in East Anglia, Project Orange has developed a fascination with how you add to and integrate new dwellings with existing rural settlements. The Green at Ingoldisthorpe has allowed a continued exploration of these themes and, with the introduction of the custom build principle, offers an exciting opportunity to people wanting to hand in the design and construction of their own home.
