Time to let with Sowerbys is now

Norfolk continues to experience an ever increasing rise in demand for rentals.

We always say it, but their genuinely has never been a better time to put your Norfolk property up to let– as Sowerbys’ continues to experience an ever increasing rise in demand.
A buoyant sales market has reduced the number of properties available to let and as tenant demand continues to increase, new landlords can expect to secure the right client for their property.

It comes as Sowerbys’ Lettings and Operations Director Ed Tyman predicts rental prices will increase moving into Autumn.
Ed said: “In Norfolk, the stock levels for rental property have been hit hard, fuelled by a buoyant sales market.

“Over the past few months we have witnessed some landlords opting to sell, while others have decided to switch to offering short-term holiday lets, especially on the Norfolk coast.
“While this may prove to be financially rewarding during the post-pandemic trend to take stay-cations, it also makes for an increase in the number of tenants keen to find a long-term residence.

“Demand remains exceptionally high and I expect to see average rent prices rise as we approach the Autumn.

“Letting to a long-term tenant is more convenient for many landlords, avoiding the need for fast turnaround between regular stays and the demands of increased wear and tear and administrative management tasks associated with short term lets.
“Additionally, using an agent such as Sowerbys’ ensures the entire process is simple and efficient.

“With this in mind, now is a great time for landlords to considering letting their property to begin the process.”
