What happened in Norfolk’s property market in October? hero

October continued to show that committed Norfolk buyers remain active in the market, with viewing numbers translating into strong results for those ready to move.

Across our branches, we saw an average of 12 viewings to every sale, highlighting that buyers currently searching are serious and well-qualified. When the right home becomes available, they’re ready to act.

There was also a notable uplift in completions, with the highest number of exchanges since spring - representing over £49 million worth of Norfolk property successfully reaching the final stage of sale.

Strong Momentum in New Homes

October was also a standout month for new homes, with activity levels climbing across our developments:

- Above-average numbers of viewings booked and carried out

- The highest number of offers made on new homes so far this year

- The most new home sales agreed in a single month during 2024

- On average, a sale agreed for every seven viewings

This performance reflects growing confidence among buyers who value the efficiency, quality and lifestyle benefits that new homes bring.
