Awards
International Property Awards
In 2025, our website was recognised as an award winner at the International Property Awards in the Best Estate Agency Website category for the United Kingdom.
This recognition highlights the strength of our digital presence and the continued investment we make in delivering a clear, engaging and client-focused online experience.
The award builds on our earlier success at the International Property Awards, following our regional wins in the 2022–23 programme for Real Estate Agency Marketing, Real Estate Agency Office and Real Estate Agency Website.
All entries are judged by an independent panel of more than 80 industry experts, assessing design quality, service, innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability.
Now in its 29th year, the International Property Awards celebrate excellence across more than 50 residential and commercial categories, with entries from the UK and around the world.
A recognised service
Trusted Service by Feefo
Trusted Service by Feefo is a nationally recognised accreditation awarded only to businesses that collect genuine, verified customer reviews through Feefo.
Based on the number of reviews received and the average customer rating, it provides a true reflection of service quality and client satisfaction.
We are proud that Sowerbys has achieved Feefo’s prestigious Platinum Trusted Service Award for five consecutive years, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to exceptional customer care.
This recognition is especially important to us as it is founded on real feedback from our clients, highlighting the effort we put into delivering the best possible experience at every stage of the property journey.
Affiliations & Professional Standards
The Property Ombudsman (TPO)
Membership of The Property Ombudsman (TPO) gives buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants confidence that they are dealing with an estate and lettings agent committed to fair practice and high standards.
Since October 2008, all estate agents have been required to register with an approved Estate Agents Redress Scheme. The TPO is one of the schemes approved by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT), providing independent investigation of complaints and ensuring consumer protection.
By following the TPO Code of Practice for Residential Estate Agents, additional consumer safeguards are provided beyond what is required by law. The blue TPO logo identifies agents who adhere to these obligations.
Membership also extends to the TPO Code of Practice for Letting Agents, delivering the same professional standards for landlords and tenants.
The Property Ombudsman is a free, fair and independent service for unresolved disputes. Entirely independent of agents, the Ombudsman reports directly to the TPO Council, which has a majority of non-industry members.
