A valuation is about much more than putting a price on your home. It’s an opportunity for us to understand your property, listen to your plans and give you honest advice about the best way to achieve your move.
We’ll look at recent comparable sales, current demand from buyers and what’s happening in the local market before recommending an asking price we believe gives you the best opportunity of achieving a successful sale.
We’ll also explain how we’d present and market your home. From professional photography to a professionally designed property brochure, every element is carefully considered to showcase your home at its very best.
We’ll then talk you through how we’d introduce your property to the right buyers through Rightmove, social media, our website, our network of offices and our database of registered buyers.
If you choose to sell with Sowerbys, we’ll be with you throughout the journey. From preparing your home for launch and arranging viewings to negotiating offers and progressing the sale, we’ll keep you informed and supported every step of the way.
Most valuations take around 45 minutes to an hour, although larger or more unusual homes may take a little longer.
We’ll take the time to answer your questions, discuss your plans and make sure we leave you with a clear understanding of your home’s value and the options available to you.
There’s no need for any special preparation before we arrive.
