Our Supported Local Charities in 2025

Throughout 2025, we proudly continued our commitment to supporting local charities by fundraising for Norfolk & Waveney Mind and Finnbar’s Force. Giving back to the communities we serve has always been at the heart of what we do, and we were determined to make a meaningful difference once again.

For every home we sold during the year, we made a donation. Alongside this, our teams took on a variety of fundraising challenges - from marathon walks to quiz nights - all with the aim of adding as much as possible to the pot.

As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations, we were thrilled to raise over £80,000 for five Norfolk charities. None of that would have been possible without the incredible generosity of our clients, friends, family, and the wider Norfolk community. We remain truly grateful to everyone who supported us.

With the continued support of our communities, we were proud to build on that success and help make a real difference to those who needed it most.

Charity Quiz 2025

Our 2025 Charity Quiz was officially sold out! Guests also had the opportunity to take part in our charity raffle, with all proceeds contributing to our fundraising efforts for Norfolk & Waveney Mind and Finnbar’s Force.

The event was proudly sponsored by Broadland Consultants, independent mortgage and protection specialists providing expert, trusted advice across Norfolk and beyond.

Their generous support helped make the evening possible, and we were incredibly grateful for their contribution, as well as everyone who attended, donated and supported the event.

Charity Marathon 2025

Sunday 21st September
In September, we laced up our walking boots for Charity Marathon 2025 – a 22-mile sponsored walk in support of Norfolk & Waveney Mind and Finnbar’s Force.

About the Event
The Sowerbys team, along with friends and family, took on an epic route to raise money for two incredible local charities.

The Route
Starting and finishing at The Dabbling Duck in Great Massingham, the circular walk took in some of Norfolk’s most beautiful countryside. The route had been carefully tested, and on the day we were supported with refreshments and a well-deserved lunch stop along the way.

It proved to be a fantastic community challenge, all in aid of making a difference where it mattered most.

Proud of our communities
