A Local Welcome

Thank you for visiting the terms and conditions for the Jacob's Yard purchasing scheme - A Local Welcome, proudly promoted by Sowerbys, the appointed estate agents for Jacob’s Yard in Ringstead.

As part of our commitment to supporting the local community, purchasers who buy a home at Jacob’s Yard and legally complete in 2025 will receive a local reward to the value of £1,000 for each business - The Gin Trap Inn and The General Stores, both located in the village of Ringstead.

1. Eligibility and Participation

This offer is available exclusively to purchasers who legally complete on a property at Jacob’s Yard within the 2025 calendar year, up to and including the last possible completion date.
To qualify, purchasers must submit a “Live Local. Love Local” flyer during the house purchase process with Sowerbys, the appointed estate agents for the development.
Flyers must be original and handed to Sowerbys prior to or during legal progression. Photocopies or reproductions will not be accepted.

2. Reward Value and Redemption

Each qualifying purchasing party will receive:
- A local reward to the value of £1,000 for The Gin Trap Inn, Ringstead
- A local reward to the value of £1,000 for The General Stores, Ringstead
While rewards are available for both businesses, they are issued and redeemed separately, in line with each business’s own policies.
Details regarding how the rewards are issued and tracked (e.g. voucher codes, account credit, or store balances) will be confirmed in due course.
Rewards will be provided only after legal completion and verification of eligibility by Sowerbys.

3. Terms of Use

Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative goods or services.
Rewards cannot be gifted, sold or reassigned to anyone other than the original purchasing party.
Misuse or unauthorised duplication of flyers or reward credits will result in disqualification.
Rewards are valid only at the two named businesses and may not be used elsewhere.

4. Limitations and Conditions

The scheme is not available to purchases made prior to its launch.
Participating businesses may apply their own restrictions (e.g. alcohol, tobacco, expiry dates), which must be respected by the reward holder.
Lost, stolen or expired rewards may not be replaced.
Sowerbys and WS Ringstead Limited are not responsible for the availability, service, or pricing of the participating businesses.

5. Funding and Administration

The scheme is promoted by Sowerbys as the estate agent for Jacob’s Yard.
All funding for the rewards is provided entirely by the developer, WS Ringstead Limited.
The total value of the scheme is £2,000 per qualifying property, split as £1,000 per participating business.

6. Right to Amend

WS Ringstead Limited and Sowerbys reserve the right to update or withdraw this scheme at any time without notice.
Changes will not affect purchasers who have already qualified and submitted their flyers.
